Forest School

At Wild Horses we are passionate about giving every child long summers spent playing outside, running barefoot in the grass, climbing trees and building forts with great friends. At our Forest School, we turn the outside into a classroom for children as young as 3 to 12.

Our Forest School is an educational experience that takes place in a natural environment and encourages the development of a lifelong relationship between the learner and the natural world. Our 30 acre campus allows learning to takes place entirely out in the open. On our campus, children will get to experience and care for horses, goats, pigs, chickens, and our vegetable garden. Lesson plans are created organically from a learner-led approach. Hands on, experiential learning is the focus with the goal of social and emotional development by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
